Paperboard with a sealable inner side suitable for paper cups manufacturing.
Characteristics
It is a solid bleached paperboard available from 170 g/m² up to 380 g/m². It has a non coated face, smooth and with a natural look suitable for printing with flexography and offset. Inner side is covered by an acqueous dispersion which doesn’t contain polyethylene nor PLA. Inner side seals at a temperature starting at 125˚C allowing the manufacture of perfectly tight papercups at high speed in the most usual converting machines.
This product is repulpable and recyclable in normal waste streams.
Applications
Its properties make it ideal for on-the-go disposable cups for hot beverages, for instance, coffee, tea or chocolate. It is also suitable for take-away containers for food and beverages.
