Simona Eckhold was born in Arad, Romania, and came to Germany at the tender age of 5. After leaving school, she began a banking apprenticeship and worked in this field for 16 years until she was finally promoted to assistant to the managing director. But her passion for art took her elsewhere.
From 2006 to 2009, she pursued her dream in the USA, where she studied acting in Portland, OR, before proving her talent both on screen and on stage.
In 2019, Simona Eckhold took the plunge into entrepreneurship and launched a groundbreaking product: a patent-pending stainless-steel mug encased in leather and a matching handbag unlike any other in the world. Manufactured and packaged entirely in Germany, the duo’s packaging goes beyond mere utility and resembles a miniature hotel in which the bag and cup find their place. Handmade and fitted with a leather strap, the bag hotel serves as a versatile decoration that can be seamlessly integrated into any living area with a little imagination.
