After studying political science, Ute von Buch trained as a journalist. Alongside her work as a freelance journalist, she founded the magazine creativ verpacken, which focusses on packaging as a marketing tool. This approach links packaging design with consumer needs as well as brands with packaging and materials that suit them.
Ute von Buch is an experienced juror and moderates round table discussions as well as conferences. Once a year, she sets standards for future market development with her own conference, the creativ verpacken dialog.
