CORIUM® is a 100% recycled, natural and environmentally sustainable GRS-certified material.
Prodotti Alfa, a historic Italian company with a passion for producing recycled leather and a long-term commitment to sustainability, introduced CORIUM® in 2015. A registered brand, CORIUM® is a 100% recycled, natural and environmentally sustainable material that is perfectly suited to the needs of the packaging sector. It can be produced in reel or sheet forms with customizable dimensions. Thicknesses, also customizable, starts from 0.2 mm and goes up to 3.0 mm.
CORIUM® is GRS-certified: this certification makes it possible to guarantee the traceability of the recycled material throughout the supply chain: in its production, 90% reuse of manufacturing waste is guaranteed, it is carbon neutral (1sqm of CORIUM® = 0.98 kg/CO2), production wastewater is reused, and the use of REACH-compliant chemicals is guaranteed.
