What is EcoVadis?

EcoVadis aims to improve companies’ environmental and social practices by leveraging the influence of global logistics chains.

It is, in fact, one of the most important international eco-sustainability rating platforms, and allows companies to monitor the Sustainability performance of their suppliers, across 150 sectors and 110 countries.

The rating model, which is based on globally recognized standards such as GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), UNGC (United Nations Global Compact), ISO 26000 and is overseen by an international scientific committee, consists of verifying, through a questionnaire, the supplier’s performance in relation to 4 macro-environments: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
