Art-Gallery 2023: illustration meets packaging design with the works of the Illustri Festival artists.
In 2023, visitors to Packaging Première & PCD Milan will be welcomed to the event by the Art-Gallery: a true art gallery, symbol of the encounter between design, art and packaging that characterises the event dedicated to packaging for the luxury and beauty sectors.
This year, from 16 to 18 May, visitors will have the opportunity to admire – and purchase – the works of ten illustrators from Illustri Festival, the Italian illustration festival. An exhibition of eighty illustrations will take visitors on an experience of art and creativity, elements that they will then find in the luxury packaging on display at the event.
The new feature of Art-Gallery 2023 will be the possibility for visitors to purchase the exhibited works. All information about the artists, illustrations and prices will be provided at the entrance to the event, and shipping of the purchased works will be organised by Illustri Festival.
Guest and speaker at Packaging Première & PCD Milan will be the art director of Illustri Festival, Francesco Poroli, a well-known illustrator who has collaborated over the years with leading brands such as Facebook, Campari, Apple, NBA, Barilla, Lamborghini and many others. It is precisely Francesco Poroli who has created exclusively for the event the symbolic illustration that will welcome visitors at the entrance to the fair.

ILLUSTRI: the point of reference of Italian illustration
ILLUSTRI is the home of Italian illustration, a point of reference for illustrators, and an active professional network involved in many events. Italian illustration is promoted thanks to a dense calendar of exhibitions, training activities, portfolio reviews and meetings organised in different cities across Italy and also thanks to a series of publishing products dedicated to Italian and international illustration. Founded in 2014, in these years of activity Associazione Illustri has realised five editions of Illustri Festival, a biennial event hosted in the historical city centre of Vicenza.
In addition, it has created over 30 exhibitions, involving more than 300 illustrators in events, workshops and meetings throughout Italy and beyond (Milan, Turin, Rome, Florence, Bologna, Padua, Tokyo, Annecy, Los Angeles…).
