Fedrigoni presents FUTURA at Avant-Garde 2024.
The story of textile gets a new chapter, living as the matter of paper.
FUTURA is a project that created our denim effect paper, made with fabric scraps. This tailor-made project allows to reduce the amount of virgin cellulose in the production, thus recovering textile by-products destined for disposal.
For tomorrow. A collaboration between Fedrigoni Special Papers and Albini_next.
Thanks to this partnership, not only is textile waste destined for disposal recovered, but a by-product is also re-valued with an upcycling approach. A project rooted on two fundamental values: solid know-how and the drive for innovation to power circularity. Fedrigoni’s R&D team have done an extensive research partner with Albini_next, the Innovation Hub that promotes the acceleration of Innovation and Sustainability.
Fedrigoni’s project has been selected by the jury for the Innovative Materials category and will be exhibited in the Avant-Garde dedicated area at Packaging Première & PCD Milan 2024.
