Koehler Paper SE presents the pouch made of FSC®-certified paper, for Best of Moments Loacker at Avant-Garde 2024
Best of Moments, is Loacker’s top product in the Duty Free channel. From 2021, it is offered in a pouch made of FSC®-certified paper, whose recyclability is guaranteed by Aticelca and Institute Cyclos-HTC CEPI Certifications.
The development of this pouch is in line with Loacker’s sustainability strategy, which targets for packaging the use of mono-material packaging components and the elimination of unnecessary packaging. Thanks to the new packaging, the total plastic content of the Best of Moments pouch has been reduced by 62%, compared to the previous pouch.
To best convey quality, a one-side-glazed Kraft paper with internal heat-sealing coat, manufactured by Koehler Paper SE, was chosen. Rotogravure printing, carried out by Sitgroup with solvent-based inks, ensures exceptional graphic quality and heat resistance, thanks to a specific overprint varnish.
The special laser in-register engraving provides perfect linearity of envelope opening. The stability of the bottom is ensured by appropriate sealing points, which improve the presentation of the final product.
Koehler Paper’s project has been selected by the jury for the Sustainability category and will be exhibited in the Avant-Garde dedicated area at Packaging Première & PCD Milan 2024.
