Pozzoli creates the Dolce & Gabbana Devotion Paper Bag
The Bag’s unconventional shape was key to the challenge, along with the need for a very high level of quality and an attention to the bag unique design. Pozzoli’s R&D team worked closely with the customer, to develop and refine a series of designs
Among the most challenging details to recreate was the handle. Made entirely of cardboard, the final design perfectly combines elegance with strength.
A completely bespoke precious paper was commission from James Cropper and used to line all the bag. Embellished with a gold hot foil it stays faithful to the Dolce & Gabbana classic is based on.
The result is a completely handmade item, perfectly executed right down to the metal “Sacro cuore”, universal symbol of love, which is a distinctive feature of the entire line.
Pozzoli’s project has been selected by the jury for the Design category and will be exhibited in the Avant-Garde dedicated area at Packaging Première & PCD Milan 2024.
