Roberto Vallini’s artworks at Packaging Première’s Art Gallery: roots and wooden fragments become works of art

ANY  FORM AN EMOTION

The root modified and molded presents its new forms, shows its beauty, and leaves up to you the final choice: what should be the core? After the work to emerge the heart, comes the choice of the color and the preservation technique. Roots and fragments on canvas. Picked up everywhere in the world: beaches, river sides, woods or, simply grass trek; sometimes “worked” by water or time. You gather a piece that tells you its mysterious history. Fragments destined to be pulped that come to a new life. “Set on the canvas” in a sort of  “dimensional” painting where the volume becomes part of the color of the canvas. But it is still an object. From here a new recent research: after giving a new life, how to give a new movement that makes it less tied down in the canvas.

Born in Milan in 1945,  journalist,  news Director of Odeon TV, Antennatre and Telereporter. Since 2000, he began to “work” roots and fragments, presented his works in solo and collective shows. He is a member of Via Bagutta Artists in Milan.
