Design
Originality: a unique texture and colour that can change according to jeans fibres used. Can be customized and offers infinite printing and cutting possibilities
Rigidity: made in 3 layers, it remains rigid over time regardless of its thickness. Lay flat, stay flat is our mantra
Reduction in raw materials used: Rigidity allow us to use of the lowest grammages in complete safety
Recycled and 100% biodegradable materials: smallest recycled jeans fibres are mixed with recycled cardboard fibres
Mono-material, easy to disassemble and reusable as a storage box
Unique manufacturing process
The product is manufactured with a zero waste objective:
ESKA starts with producing pulp by mixing 100% recycled paper with water. The plastics sorted from the recycled paper are converted into energy which is used in the manufacturing process. The Jeans fibres provided by a Dutch partner are mixed with the produced pulp to form ESKA JEANS board. Then a (Jeans) paper is laminated on both sides, using waterbased adhesives.
Result is a reduction of consumption of natural gas by > 20%
Using of 1 to 5m3 of water per ton of board whereas EU legislation permits 11 m3
95,000 liters of diesel for transportation saved annually
Shipments converted from road to rail or badge: 30.000 tons in last 20 years
